Dr. Rita Johnson, DVM, MPH
Dr. Rita Johnson is a native of Evansville, IN and actually worked here at St. Joe Vet before attending veterinary school. At
Purdue, she pursued small, large and exotic animal medicine. She previously worked in emergency and exotic medicine in
Louisville, KY and a mixed animal practice in Floyds Knobs, IN. She has a special interest in preventative health care, the
prevention of zoonotic diseases (diseases passed from animals to people) and the human-animal bond.
Dr. Johnsons free time is spent involved in outdoor activities with her husband, two rowdy kiddos, and a super cuddly Golden
Retriever (Violet).

Dr. Amanda Kline, DVM
Dr. Amanda Kline is a native of Henderson, KY. She attended Centre College for her undergraduate degree and acquired her
doctorate in veterinary medicine from St. Georges University. She has a true gift of putting people at ease.
Her son keeps her busy these days. She enjoys travel and family, gardening, and most outdoor activities. Jeep riding with her
husband is a top summertime activity.

Dr. Alice Wyatt, DVM, CCRP
Dr. Alice Wyatt is a native of Evansville, IN and attended Purdue University for her undergraduate and graduated from Purdue
Veterinary School in 2009. After vet school, she spent a few years practicing in Florida, and then moved back home. She became
certified in veterinary orthopedic manipulation while in Florida, and this started her interest in alternative therapy and
senior pet care. In 2015, she expanded her alternative therapy tract, and became certified in animal rehabilitation through the
University of Tennessee. Having 2 Dachshunds of her own, she takes special interest in offering alternative therapies along
with standard veterinary care to all pets, but enjoys those with special needs.
Her husband, Dan, is an avid golfer and a private golf instructor. They have two doxies, Barley and Hops, a hound dog, Rye, and
a cat named Birdie. Dr. Wyatt has a new love, a baby boy! When not at St. Joe, Alice enjoys serving at our local Animal
Emergency Clinic, being active outdoors, working on home improvement projects, or traveling with her family.

Dr. Katie Willis, DVM
Dr. Katie Willis was born and raised in Evansville. She attended Reitz Memorial High School and then undergraduate and
professional school at Purdue University. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. Dr. Willis has
been in small animal practice first in Kentucky and then in Indiana since graduation. Her areas of interest include
ophthalmology and endocrinology.
Dr. Willis and her husband, Chad, have three sons and senior mixed breed dog named Ruby. Dr. Willis enjoys reading, visiting
friends, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.

Ashley S.
Ashley has worked in animal care for many years. She took a short time off to pursue a fitness career. She came back to us
because she missed veterinary medicine so much while also starting her family. She will often be that smiling face welcoming
you in the door, but really she is a "jack of all trades" and pops up in multiple areas of the hospital. She rounds out our
veterinary team.
Ashley spends her free time with her husband, sons, their pup, Goldie. Of course, Ashley still spends much of her free
time at the gym. Don't let her tiny stature fool you. She's the strongest one in the building!

Kiley H.
Kiley has been working in veterinary medicine for eight years and at St. Joe for four years. We are so lucky to have her bright
personality here caring for our clients and patients and supporting the whole team.
Kiley spends her free time camping, baking, watching horror movies & spending time with her family. She has four cats (all
rescues), as well as a cornsnake. Kiley is also a lover of all things "spooky".

Lily R.
With a warm smile and a passion for helping both pets and their people, Lily is one of the first friendly faces you'll see when
you visit our hospital. Outside of work, she loves spending time in the great outdoors — especially camping and kayaking. Her
favorite getaway spot? The Florida Keys, where she enjoys soaking up the sunshine and ocean breeze.
At home, Lily is a proud dog mom to two adorable dachshunds, Willow and Fern, who hold a special place in her heart and keep
her life full of love and laughter.

Addie is our Nurse Care Manager. She is a Purdue Bachelor of Science graduate of the Veterinary Technology program. She is
originially from Muncie, IN and moved to Evansville in 2014. She is excellent with patients and clients.
She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her pups, Evee & Reggie! Addie also enjoys reading, playing cards, and
kayaking! She also has the gift of adding joy to your day. We are so lucky to have her!

Judy V., RVT
Judy has seen St. Joe Vet Hospital through many changes since joining the practice in 1985. The value of her experience with
people and pets is unmeasurable. Judy is our practical joker, so keep an eye out for her.
When not traveling with her daughter, she is likely to be discussing Purdue sports. She also loves gardening, fishing, the
Yankees, & the Packers! She has two grandkids that keep her & her husband busy at Holiday World on her days off.

Sarah is a registered veterinary technician born and raised in Evansville. She graduated from Murray State University in May of
2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology, then started her career here. Sarah has a specialized certification
in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute.
She enjoys spending free time with her cat, Rori. She also enjoys kickboxing, crocheting, and playing games. She loves helping
pets stay fit and healthy.

McKayla A., RVT
McKayla was born in Naples, FL, but moved to Evansville at a young age. She attended St. Petersburg College and earned an
Associates Degree in Applied Science Veterinary Technology 2024 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in
2026. She began her veterinary career in 2021 and has developed a strong passion in dentistry, surgery, and patient care.
Outside of work, McKayla is a dedicated houseplant collector and enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and seeking new
adventures. She shares her home with three orange kitties; Wildcat, Sherbert and Ruby.

Haley C., VA
Haley is a veterinary technology graduate of Owensboro Community Technical College and has been working in the veterinary field
for nearly 10 years, and her favorite part of the job is helping animals feel safe, loved, and understood during their
appointments. She has a special place in her heart for animals in need and rescue cases. At home, she has two three-legged pets
and a rescue cat who remind her every day why she loves what she does.
Haley enjoys using her skills to make a difference with our animals and their owners lives a little easier. Client education
and understanding is one of her favorite things to go over because not every animal is the same and tips and tricks go along
way in this field.
Outside of veterinary medicine, you’ll usually find her enjoying music, spending time in nature, or sharing a laugh with
friends. If there’s one thing people know her for, it’s constant giggling and her positive attitude.

Collin is a registered veterinary technician from Newburgh, IN. He was a 2015 graduate from Castle High School and graduated
from Owensboro Community and Technical College with his Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree in 2020.
Collin spent 5 years after graduating college and earning his RVT license working at an emergency vet hospital where he found
a real passion at helping pets in emergent situations. Collin is also very passionate about exotic pets and their care, and
owns several exotic pets himself.
In his free time, Collin enjoys reading, playing video games, crocheting, and spending time with his husband and their 16 pets.

Tara B., RVT
Tara is from Henderson, KY and attended Murray State University for a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science in 2018. She
started in veterinary medicine after graduation as a customer service representative for two years, then went back to school to
get her associates degrees as a veterinary technician. She made her RVT official with her license in 2024.
Tara loves spending time with her son and fiancé. Tara loves reading with her book club and all things Taylor Swift. She has
one dog and one cat. Cats are her favorite, and she is passionate about senior pets and end of life care. Tara really enjoys
getting to know her clients and building relationships with them and their pets.

Bre is a Registered Veterinary Technician with nearly 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Throughout her career, she
has developed a special passion for caring for giant breed dogs and enjoys building strong relationships with clients through
education and support. Bre loves helping pet owners better understand their pets’ health and empowering them to provide the
best possible care.
When she’s not at the clinic, Bre enjoys bodybuilding, spending time with her daughter, and making memories with her family and
pets.

Carol S.
Carol is an experienced groomer of over 40 years who joined our office in 2017. She is now a retired school bus driver for the
EVSC and a local celebrity in the Darmstadt area. We are very lucky to have her alongside us to be able to provide
comprehensive services at our office.
She is very active with 4-H and spends time chasing dogs, horses, and grandkids.

Kerri F.
Kerri is a native westsider. She is a '01 graduate of Reitz High School and a graduate of University of Southern Indiana.
Project Management is her main focus around the hospital. If someone needs something or equipment isn't working properly, Kerri
is the "go-to fixer" of all things. She will quickly jump in where ever she is needed.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and her boy/girl twins, doing most anything outdoors. She has a black lab
named Cynder, who loves everyone she sees, and who is famously known for eating some of the strangest things & surviving.

Chloe brings a strong passion for animal care and has a love for the outdoors. When she’s not at the hospital helping pets feel
their best, she enjoys riding her horse, Shiloh, and sharing her knowledge by teaching others how to ride.
At home, Chloe loves relaxing with her two dogs, Maple and Ginger, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her
compassionate nature and kind spirit to both animals and people make her an important part of our team.

Originally from Evansville, IN, Aubrey is a proud graduate of North Posey High School, Class of 2024. With a lifelong love for
animals, she brings passion and hands-on experience to the veterinary field. At home, Aubrey cares for her cat, Gypsy, and her
energetic German Shorthair Pointer, Ellie.
When she’s not at the clinic, Aubrey enjoys attending livestock shows and showing her own lambs and cattle. She’s happiest
outdoors — whether she’s spending time with her family and pets, exploring nature, or out hunting. Fall is her favorite season,
especially because of her love for Halloween and all things spooky! Aubrey’s warmth, dedication, and deep connection to animals
make her a valued part of our veterinary team.

Madeline is a 2026 graduate of the University of Evansville with a degree in Biology, who will begin veterinary school at the
University of Illinois in the fall of 2026 as a member of the Class of 2030. Her passion for veterinary medicine comes from a
lifelong love of animals and a desire to support both pets and their caregivers. Through experience in small animal practices,
shelters, and zoological medicine, she has developed a deep appreciation for the human-animal bond and is committed to
providing compassionate care.
When she's not at the clinic, Madeline enjoys spending time outdoors and seeking her next adventure. Whether she's skydiving,
boating, hiking, exercising, or spending time with family and friends, she loves staying active and making the most of every
day. At home, she enjoys life with her cat, Goober, whom she raised as a bottle baby after fostering his entire litter. She l
oves being part of the St. Joe Veterinary Hospital team where she continues to learn, grow, and work alongside coworkers who
make the clinic feel like home.
